It's me, hi! I'm the baker it's me! For those new It's me, hi! I'm the baker it's me! For those new around here, I'm Amy and I'm the cake lady behind Once Upon A Pie! I started my business almost 11 years ago now, as a side hustle as I just needed to bake. Nowadays this is my full time job and I feel so lucky to be able to do something I love, in my own environment and make a living from it. I make everything fresh, from scratch. A little about me, I'm a forty-something mum of two kiddos, I studied to become a chef but after moving to the UK at 19 years old the travel bug took hold and took me in a different direction. I've travelled far and wide ticking off 49 countries. I worked in the travel industry for the best part of 13 years before going full time caker. I'm currently obsessed with reformer pilates and cycle classes @esteemactive and am up there every other day if not every day, taking a moment for myself. My body and in particular my mind are thanking me for it, my anxiety levels are at an all time low which is no small feat as I do suffer from terrible anxiety. I'm also a very active volunteer at my kids primary school where I'm enjoying being really involved in the classrooms and as the schools fundraising coordinator. I'm a chocoholic, tea drinking, vegetarian, loves an occasional G&T and watching documentaries is my jam, especially sporting or true crime docos.
